Website launch checklist
Use before requesting a proposal or signing a build contract — no PDF required. Mesopo teams in Erbil, Baghdad, and Basra use this list to reduce discovery gaps and payment surprises.
Before you start
- Name executive sponsor and day-to-day product owner — avoids approval stalls in Baghdad HQ.
- Collect sample Arabic invoices and payment receipts auditors already accept.
- Confirm RTL languages: Arabic primary, Kurdish for Erbil staff, English for imports if needed.
- List FIB/FastPay/Qi merchant status or bank contacts — Mesopo starts sandbox parallel to design.
- Inventory warehouse count across Basra, Baghdad, and Erbil — affects scope and training order.
- Export existing SKU and customer spreadsheets — even messy data speeds discovery.
- Define go-live blackout dates (Ramadan peaks, fiscal year-end) before signing milestones.
- Agree support window time zones — Mesopo covers Erbil and Baghdad business hours by default.
Delivery
- Run FIB/FastPay sandbox on real mobile devices — not desktop emulators only.
- Verify RTL checkout on iOS Safari and Android Chrome with Arabic product names.
- Configure SSL and redirect URLs gateway banks will whitelist.
- Train content editors on Arabic slug and meta description patterns.
- Load-test contact forms and WhatsApp handoff links under Basra 4G conditions.
- Publish privacy policy covering payment data handled by Iraqi gateways.
- Schedule Mesopo hypercare window for first 30 days post go-live.
- Document rollback plan if gateway certificates fail during launch week.
